Itinerary :
Day 1: Delhi - Shimla
(330 km/ approx. 9
hour drive)
Drive to Shimla on arrival at the airport or railway station in
Delhi (on your own). Upon reaching Shimla, check in at the hotel.
Enjoy rest of the evening at leisure. Stay overnight at the
hotel.
Day 2: Excursion to Kufri (20 km)
Go on a half-day excursion to Kufri, famous for its trekking and
hiking trails. Also visit Indira Tourist Park which offers a
panoramic view of the hills around. Enjoy a pony or a yak ride (on
direct payment basis) around the park. After returning to Shimla,
enjoy the rest of the day at leisure, Relax, explore the local
market or stroll along the Mall. Stay overnight at the
hotel.
Day 3: Shimla - Manali (272 km/ approx 7 hour
drive)
Enjoy a drive past the banks of the River Beas to Manali. On
arrival in Manali, check in at the hotel. Enjoy the rest of the
evening at leisure. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: Excursion to Rohatang Pass /Snow Point
In the morning, proceed on a day excursion to the Rohtang Pass. If
roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit Snow Point where
ponies / horses can be hired (on direct payment basis). Enjoy rest
of the day at leisure to explore the picturesque town on your
own.
Day 5: Manali - Dharamshala (235 kms/ approx. 7
hour drive)
After Breakfast Local Sightseeing of Manali. Continue the
picturesque journey to Dharamshala. It is the principal township of
Kangra district, which overlooks the plains and is surrounded by
pine and deodar forests. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Enjoy
the evening at leisure and stay overnight at the
hotel.
Day 6: Dharamshala
Visit some of the important places of Dharamshala like St. John's
Church and McLeodganj, which is home to His Holiness the Dalai Lama
and has a beautiful Tibetan market.
Day 7: Dharamshala - Dalhousie (145 kms/ approx. 4.5 hour
drive)
Drive to Dalhousie, a small hill station that still retains its old
British charm. Its marvellous forest trails overlook vistas of
wooded hills, waterfalls, spring and rivulets. On arrival in
Dalhousie, check into your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the
Martyr's Memorial at Panchpulla; en route visit Satdhara, famous
for its water stream that contains mica and has medicinal
properties.
Day 8: Excursion to Khajjiar (23 kms / approx 1 hour
drive)
Drive to Khajjiar, a scenic spot set amidst a backdrop of dense
pines, deodars and lush green meadows. Khajjiar is exquisitely
nestled amidst the foothills of the imposing Dhauladhar ranges of
the western Himalayas, providing a panoramic and breathtaking view
to the visitors.Overnight Stay in Dalhousie.
Day9: Dahousie - Delhi (591 kms/approx. 10 hour
drive)
Check – out from the Hotel. Drive to Delhi and Drop at Railway
Station or Airport.
